Wadie Habboush is an American entrepreneur, investor, and asset manager with over two decades of experience in the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors. He specializes in asset acquisitions, management, and restructurings, focusing on special situations and high-impact opportunities driven by decarbonization and the global energy transition.​

As the Chief Executive Officer of ENTRA1, Habboush leads an investment and development platform targeting special situations within global energy, infrastructure, and advanced technology markets. ENTRA1 emphasizes investments that align with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, sustainable infrastructure, and supply chain resilience. ​

Habboush’s leadership extends to his role as CEO of the Habboush Group (HG), a global private investment firm managing proprietary assets across the capital structure in energy, infrastructure, technology, and real estate sectors. Under his guidance, HG has partnered with leading multinational corporations and financial institutions to acquire, develop, and manage assets valued at over $6 billion. ​

In 2022, Habboush played a pivotal role in forming a strategic alliance between NuScale Power, Habboush Group, and ENTRA1. This collaboration established a “one-stop-shop” for the financing, investment, development, execution, and management of NuScale-powered projects, aiming to meet the growing global demand for clean energy solutions. ​

Habboush’s career also includes serving as an Investment & Operating Partner to I Squared Capital, a global infrastructure investment manager with over $36 billion in assets under management. Additionally, he has led strategic joint ventures with major corporations such as Halliburton and Fluor Corporation, focusing on alternative asset investments and the development of power, infrastructure, and industrial assets in the EMEA region. ​

Before transitioning to the energy and infrastructure sectors, Habboush practiced law at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, advising private and public companies, institutional investors, and private equity funds on corporate governance, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and complex transactions. ​

Habboush holds a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated at the top of his class from American University’s Kogod School of Business. Raised in Washington, D.C., he comes from a heritage rooted in Mesopotamian Judeo-Christian traditions.
